  2. Actually Microsoft is what retired me I never had a pension of any kind on any job but I always had decent jobs paid well and I stayed out of debt living on less than I made was able to save so one day in the early 90s I just threw it all on one publicly traded company called Microsoft long story short and 99 I cashed out after going through sixtwo-for-one splits move to the Philippines with one big giant lump sum but nothing coming in a month and I’m still living that way because I’m still five years from collecting Social Security at 62 but thank God that lump sum was so much that I’m still living off of it so it’s been a nice journey no doubt

  3. Very thoughtful and true Reekay. Life is both beautiful and tough. Indeed almost 60 y.o. now I feel that my batteries are in the yellow and that I contributed enough to deserve some peace and quiet. Grateful for all I have too, even the challenges that gave me a modicum of wisdom. The idea of going to the Philippines and getting a beautiful 23 y.o. girlfriend is tempting but I don t think I have enough energy to deal with all the related stresses.
I will instead enjoy watching your videos in the comfort of my house in Australia. ?
I m glad you are doing well!

  4. I had tickets to Vietnam and Philippines since over 18 months ago now in travel vouchers waiting to fly whenever

  5. I grinded out life being somewhat frugal & conservative & even working 2 jobs into my 50’s. This & people I knew passinng on as we age helped me ask myself many questions & ponder my future. At 61 in 2017 I said I had enough & just jumped on a plane & moved to the Phils. For me, it was about or maybe the best decision I ever made.

  6. Thank you for sharing your experiences, mine are very similar in nature. I’m still working have several years to go so I can retire comfortably. I have been doing IT here in the States for the last 25 years. As scary as retirement sounds, I kinda look forward to it. I have a wonderful young lady been trying to see, we are hoping maybe they will open for Christmas.

  7. Hello Henry and very true, life does move fast! It is important to for all of us to do things we enjoy in life while working hard and to save for those rainy days! At the same time, be good to your body by watching what you eat and maintaining your health. Enjoy the days ahead Henry and I always wish you and your family prosperity and good health!

  8. “That’s life I guess”

Yes that’s life in the western gynocracy. Young men, if you are reading this, avoid marriage, avoid cohabitation, and avoid children. Save, invest and retire young to a country that appreciates men and can’t steal your cash at the whim of a woman.

  9. the glass is TOTALLY FULL!!!! overflowing in many areas! I’m overpaid by this thing we float in called the Universe. Some of the best advice, I ever heard from my Dad, “don’t wait until you get old to retire.” MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🙂 I think the key for many of my friends is the *redefining* of the word “retirement”… it’s more of a change in how I “work”. Looks like you are living the dream! warns my heart. Miss you man! PEACE 🙂

  10. I never saw the draw to working a job a person didn’t like. I never did that for very long. Guess I never paid my dues. I’m OK with that.

  11. Great video and advice ?.
I’m a 44 year old guy from the Philippines. I started watching your videos after I had my wifes aunt introduced us ( she found a new victim ? but yes that depends on the woman). Me and my Philippina wife have been together for 5 years and your videos and others have helped very much. We have 3 kids now in the USA. I’m 2 years from retirement and I hope to travel Asia and the world after that. So here a big THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT VIDEOS.

  12. Thank you Henry, I am glad to follow your nice videos,.. I read in a book that serving both or one of your parents leads to long healthy life!! Helping a human to overcome bad situation, protects you from deadly accidents!! I don’t know why these two thoughts come to my attention while I was watching this video of yours!! Best wishes ???

  13. Great video… I can’t wait to get there… hopefully going in February of this coming year.
I killed my self in the work force for 36 years and now I had bypass surgery and I am calling it quits, retiring to Palawan with my wife who is from there. Time to relax and live life for me!!!

  14. A wise man once said, “Everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.”

  15. I am 65 and retired this past March. Last 30 years were mental not physical. I’m what some call an Elder Orphan. Divorced years ago and no kids. My big stressor is waiting on Philippines to open up. And my glass is half full even though I was kicked a few times in life.

  16. Reekay this video was like a breath of fresh air. I am retired and waiting for the Philippines to open. Looking forward to retirement there. Hopefully things will get better in the coming months. Thanks for sharing.

  17. Reekay, your mom did a great job raising you to be a successful, honest man who enjoys sharing his wisdom to others ?
